About Lancet Studios
Hello, I’m Roger. I am a father of four, a public-school educator, musician, songwriter, and music producer. I have been playing music for over 25 years and have almost 20 years of computer-based recording experience.
Creative Music Exploration.
I learned to play music by playing in bands and from learning from the people around me. I was motivated to learn my instrument because I was actively participating in making music. This is the main idea behind Creative Music Exploration.
Students get to experiment with guitars, drums, synthesizers, beat making and recording. What the student wants to play and the direction they want to take musically is entirely up to them. The idea is to get going playing music immediately. I can help with this by using my production skills and modern music technology to accompany the student play along and help with their creativity and expression.
Explore different instruments
I work with you to learn to record your own music, make beats, play guitar, drums and synthesizers.
Collaborate to make songs
If you aren’t interested in learning an instrument but still want to learn to write music, you can! I will teach you how to use writing a recording software to make your musical vision a reality.
Learn audio technology
Already know how to play an instrument and just need help getting your audio gear set up and running? I can help! Audio tech is getting easier to use, but still has a learning curve. I can help get the boring technical stuff out of the way so you can focus on your music!
Pricing
